I’m surprised you listen to Howard Stern.
Wow. UGH. I’m sure it could go both ways though…for both sides. Scary stuff. The very things that most people are against McCain for these people suddenly are “for” because they thought Obama was for those.
I know I’m new but wouldn’t pin you for a Howard Stern watcher.
They should be more informed, we all should be, but give me a few hours on the street anywhere and I’m sure I can find a handful like that in either camp.
And, have you heard of the psychology experiments with authority figures? Basically, the idea that if we see someone as an authority (say a doctor, or a person with a lab coat) we don’t second guess and people tend to go way against their own morals and convictions if confronted by an “authority”.
Just saying, if a reporter started presenting “facts” to you for a quick news clip, it’s not common for someone to challenge that, at least not in that moment.
lol. I am not normally a Howard Stern listener. I heard a portion of the clip on the news and had to find the rest. I do agree that you could find people like this on either sad. Either way it is very sad that people just don’t know anything about their own candidate.
I have heard of the experiments and they are very interesting. But I have to say that even if someone came up to me and asked if I supported McCain being pro-choice I would know enough to question it. It would be interesting to find a follow up with these people and see if that was the case or not.
